Student Reviews

Pam Whitaker

What brought you to yoga?
"I started doing yoga because I had osteoporosis. I got a DVD called "Iron Yoga" and once I started trying to follow along I realized that I didn't really know how to do yoga. So, I signed up for a class at the local rec center, took a few classes there, and never went back to the do-it-yourself home practice. I was just hooked on the classes."

What do you love about Yama Yoga?
"I love the community feel of the studio. I like coming to class and seeing people I know, people I like."

Joy Eubank

What brought you to yoga?
"Wanting to stay flexible. That's probably the main thing. Flexibility. I've always been active.

What do you love about Yama Yoga?
"I've made a lot of friends coming here over the years. I've enjoyed that! And, being able to stay active."

Kathy O'Neill

What do you love about Yama Yoga?

"I have been practicing yoga off and on since the early 2000's, but I was never really serious. I came to Yama Yoga to get serious about my practice and see what it could do for me. I fell in love with the space, the energy, and the people."
