Current Classes


Yoga Stretch:

Is simply stretching. We start with the head and move through the entire body. We focus on balance, breath, alignment, strengthening, and lengthening the limbs.



Beginner Yoga:

Is for the new student. In this class we focus on basic Sun Salutations, stretching, alignment, and breath work. It is more strenuous than yoga stretch and you will raise your heart rate.




Is a challenging class. We practice Sun Salutations combined with challenging sequences meant to increase flexibility, strength, and stamina. This class is heated and fast paced and will explore inversions and arm balances.



Prenatal Yoga (Yama Mama's):

Is a class designed specifically for expecting mother's-to-be. Our focus is on building strength and endurance to help the student move easily through the labor and delivery process. It's a wonderful way to bond with your baby and learn to calm your mind through the use of specific breathing techniques.



Restorative Yoga:

Is a deeply relaxing class that utilizes blocks, bolsters, chairs, sandbags, and straps throughout the class. The poses are supported and held for 5-10 minutes each in order to deeply stretch and release tension.




Is "yogic sleep". It begins with light stretching and then you will lay in savasana while the instructor takes you through a guided meditation.



Yin Yoga:

This practice is designed to help you sit longer and more comfortably, enhance flexibility, improve balance, and stretch connective tissues around joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). Yin Yoga involces variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia, tendons, and ligaments. Yin Yoga compliments other forms of yoga creating a more balanced body. 



Chair Yoga:

A gentle class appropriate for those with limited mobility or needing light physical therapy. Poses are designed around the use of a chair as a prop to maintain stability and safely deepen stretches. Chairs are provided by the studio.
